Forces Recruitment Solutions Renews Silver Award

This is me pictured with the Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Julie Spence OBE, QPM,BEd, LLB, MA, MBA. and Commodore Rob Bellfield CBE, Commander - Naval Regional Command Eastern England at Madingley Hall last week for the renewal of our Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.
 
It was lovely to be recognised following our 20 years of commitment assisting servicemen and women into work which has seen us help over 10,000 personnel into work.
 
Special thanks to Kristina Carrington for her tireless support educating businesses to join the scheme.
 
So what is the ERS and how can your business get involved?

By signing the AFC an organisation demonstrates its intention to support the Armed Forces community and provides the signatory with the opportunity to be recognised by the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) award. An ERS award shows that the recipient is delivering tangible support for the Armed Forces community. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) welcomes these commitments and is grateful for the support being pledged and provided.
By signing the AFC and/or achieving an ERS award, an organisation becomes eligible to use the Covenant and ERS logos.
