✅ I’ll let you fill the ticks in yourself today.

There is nothing a good senior or officer will be unfamiliar with (even some juniors with commercial experience will tick most of this off).

SO WHY DO I KEEP GETTING ASKED IF MILITARY MAKE GOOD GMs?

❓Is it because civvies are being awkward?

❓Do they “have it in” for our servicemen or women?

❓Do they just not get it?

More often than not these employers have never recruited a service person, so they don’t understand what they’re going to get. As veterans I think we all have a responsibility to share this with our employers and contemporaries at every opportunity.

So here is my challenge to any civvy employer reading this. Don’t take my word for it – interview them, at least give them that chance and see what you think.

If you have a GM vacancy, work with me and I’ll guide you through the process with them.

I will be running a FREE workshop on Friday 25th of November around understanding military hiring. More details to follow. Email me if you would like to attend. graham@forcesrecruitment.co.uk
